What was your favorite part of the CrossFit Games 2011?

So the CF Games just came to a conclusion on Sunday.  Now it will be about another year before the next one, but first, what part of the CrossFit Games did you like best?  Who were your favorite athletes or characters from the games?  Favorite /least favorite workouts?  Any really memorable moments that are going to stand out in your mind for years to come?  Did any athlete make a really strong impression with their performance or resilience?  Post any comments or questions here.

I’d have to say that one of the moments that stands out in my mind was the show down between Patrick Barber and Jason Khalipa on the last event. It was all about pride as they dueled it out in the second to last heat, with the lead being traded several times before Barber finds just enough strength and the perfect technique to bring the sled in before Khalipa can finish and beats the 2008 champ in dramatic fashion to take the last event! It was amazing.

Obviously Bill is my favorite Crossfit Games athlete!

Pat planned very well. He sandbagged the 6 min AMRAP to be ready to take the full chipper. Smart move to take the last event.
