Session 2 for Half Day Camp is just around the corner: September 14th – October 2nd!

Days: Monday through Friday.

What to expect:

  • Structure time to work on their gymnastics and parkour skills in our new outdoor shaded and padded areas!
  • Supervised free playtime inside the parkour and gymnastics areas to run, jump, and climb, along with an opportunity for arts and crafts!
  • Campers will need to bring a mask, closed-toed shoes, a water bottle, and a snack.

Half Day Camp Session Schedule:

Session 4: October 26th – November 13th
*Note: No camp on Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov 26th) and Black Friday (Nov 27th)*

We’re very excited to announce our NEW Distance Learning Camp!

We have converted our upstairs Pre-Rec space into a comfortable learning environment to accommodate 15 students with individual workstations that have ample distance between them.

We will provide:

  • Adult supervision (1 education overseer and 2 coaches per 15 students) to facilitate school assignments, ensure daily school requirements are met, and assist with scheduled video meetings
  • A robust high-speed network to handle demands of all programs
  • Workstations for students who do not have their own devices
  • Standing desks and floor desks for a healthier environment
  • An amazing fitness facility to provide a physical outlet throughout the day

Internal schedules will be dependent on each student’s schedule. We will group students together from the same school and/or grade to help facilitate the learning environment.

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Camp Pricing:
    • 1 session (3 weeks) = $2,000.00
    • Full semester 25% discount (17 weeks, August 24 – December 18) = $8,500.00 billed in 3-week blocks

  • Any late registrants will be prorated to their start date.

The Cave Camps Are Live

Hi Cavers,

We are excited to announce that The Cave will begin it’s 2020 Summer Camp Season on Monday, June 15! We are thrilled to be able to offer an opportunity for young athletes to return to the gym, improve their gymnastics and parkour skills, and play (socially distanced) games after months of sheltering in place.

We have made changes to this year’s camp season in order to protect the health and safety of our students and staff. The changes adhere to and follow Marin County’s Summer Camp and Youth Activities Guidelines. To register athletes must commit to a three-week block in accordance to Marin County guidelines. Athletes will then be placed in a group of 12 students that will not intermingle with other classes or coaches. Morning camps will run as usual from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with morning care and aftercare available. Afternoon camps will run 2:45pm to 6:45pm. All camps will run Monday through Friday.

Gymnastics Camp (ages 4-10)

  • Session 1: June 15-19 / June 22-26 / June 29-July 3

CAMP PRICING:

3 weeks = $1400.00
3 weeks morning care (9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.) = $125.00
3 weeks aftercare (2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.) = $125.00

  • Due to the new regulations, we are no longer able to accommodate drop ins or partial camp sessions.
  • Registration for individual days of morning care and aftercare is available for $12.00/session.
  • Cancellation Policy: Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer full or partial refunds if a student is unable to attend as County guidelines prohibit us from offering a camp spot to another student.

Intro to Parkour Workshop for Adults

Brief summary: Intro to Parkour Workshop – Adults 18+

Details: Come play and learn the basics of Parkour! We’ll cover rolling, vaulting, landing, jumping, swinging, and everything in between. Mainstream Parkour perception is skewed towards high risk stunts, however, the spiderman-like practice is scalable and accessible to all ages.

With over 10 years of Parkour coaching experience, our instructors are excellent at breaking down technique. The benefits of Parkour lie in the basic attributes of human movement: Balance, reactivity, eye-foot and eye-hand coordination, height tolerance (staying calm and present under pressure), inversion, and much more. In addition to technical work, we’ll use movement games and a running obstacle course to help you discover the benefits of adaptive free-flow movement. This workshop is a great opportunity to try Parkour as an adult.

Child care (ages 5-14 only) included in the cost of the workshop through Kids Night Out.

• Only 8 “same day” spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis (please understand this is for staffing purposes and for your child’s safety); “same day” spaces are billed at $53.00, no exceptions.
• If your child is registered and does not attend, you will still be responsible for the cost of the event ($45.00).
• If you have not registered online in advance, the Kids’ Night Out fee must be paid in full when you drop your child off at The Cave.
• Kids’ Night Out is for children ages 5 – 14 years old. Children of any other age must be approved by our Events staff prior to the night of the event.
• Dinner is served between 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. If your child does not like or is allergic to the meal being provided, please pack a pre-made dinner for him or her. If your child arrives after 7:00 p.m., be aware that dinner will already have been served.

Ski week Combo Camp

Ski Week Combo Camp is between February 17-21st, 2020.

Combo camps teach foundational aspects of both gymnastics and parkour, offering participants a chance to explore new skills and movements.

2020 Combo camps run during Ski Week (February 17th-21st) and Spring Break (April 6th-10th).

The age range for our Combo camps is 4-12, and each camp week is broken up according to age and skill level.

Camps run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Kids should bring closed-toed shoes and lunch each day.

We also provide morning care and aftercare.

  • 5 Days: $555
  • 4 Days: $490
  • 3 Days: $365

  • 1 Day: $130

Cancellation Policy: The Cave retains 10% of the camp fee if a client cancels within one month of the camp’s start date; The Cave retains 20% of the camp fee if a client cancels within 2 weeks of the camp’s start date.

Ninja Night

Want to become a better Ninja? Love Ninja Warrior? Want to put your skills to the test?

Join us on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 between 4:30 pm and 9:00 pm. Hosted by four-times American Ninja Warrior competitor JB Douglas!

Multiple obstacle courses utilizing both parkour and gymnastics facility.
Courses will vary in size and difficulty. There will be an obstacle course suitable for participants 5 – 14 years old.
The night will be for practicing ninja warrior skills. It is not set up as a competition, but there will be opportunities to race and be timed through the courses.
Only 60 spots are available. Register online @ inthecave/events.com
Everyone will receive a Cave Ninja Night swag.
$80.00 per person, sibling discount (25 %) applies to second/successive family member enrollment(s).

POLICIES AND INFORMATION:
• $80.00 pre-registration can be done in person, on our website (www.inthecave/events.com), or by calling our office (415-927-1630). Participants must have an account with a signed waiver.
• The Cave observes a zero-tolerance bullying policy. Participants will be asked to leave at the first sign of bullying – NO exceptions.
• If your child is registered and does not attend, you will still be responsible for the cost of the event.
• Cancellation policy: If you cancel within 48 hours The Cave will retain 100% of the Ninja Night fee. Prior to 48 hours, you will receive a full credit back on your account.
• Ninja Night is for children ages 5 – 14 years old. Children of any other age must be approved by our Events Manager prior to the night of the event.
• Dinner is served between 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. If your child does not like or is allergic to the meal being provided, please pack a pre-made dinner for him or her. If your child arrives after 6:30 p.m., be aware that dinner will already have been served.
• Dinner will be Costco pizza (cheese and pepperoni) Costco hotdogs. Additional snacks: fresh vegetables and fruit.
• Gym appropriate clothing, socks, and comfortable gym shoes are required. A t-shirt or tank top with shorts, sweats, or leggings is appropriate. Please, no dresses, skirts, jeans, belts, or buttons on clothing.
• Misbehaving children will receive three warnings during the event; upon the third warning, a parent will be called and asked to come and collect the child.
• Ninja Night is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.—no earlier than 4:30 p.m. and no later than 9:00 p.m. For every 15 minutes, parents are late for pick-up, a $10 fee will be added to the account to cover staff costs.
