Xcel Silver Novato Classic

Novato Classic was hosted last weekend and our Xcel Silver Team competed on Friday March 14th. This was a local meet to where other team girls were able to come watch and root for the Xcel girls. This was a great opportunity for some of our young gymnasts to watch their first competition and the Xcel girls were SO excited to have them there. It is always heartwarming to see this support!

Congratulations to all of our Xcel girls- everyone had a fantastic meet. This was a late evening competition (6-10 P.M) and the girls had a long wait between their bar and beam rotation (about an hour wait!). But the girls were able to keep their focus and finish strong. Winning 2nd place team! More  highlights below:

Kenzie: Strongest performance yet on all events, especially Bars with a score of 9.0 and all around of 35.5

Clio: High score of 9.1 on Vault and 1st place tie on Floor with a 9.35

Annie: Much improved Vault with score of 9.0 and 4th place tie on Floor with 9.150

Molly: Strong performance on all events and finishing with 2nd place tie on Vault with 9.45 and 2nd place AA with 37.10

Aria: First meet with The Cave! Strong finish with 1st on Beam with 9.7, 2nd on Floor with 9.45 and 2nd AA with 38.150
