Ohana Surf Classic

We continued our 2025 competition season in Watsonville at the Ohana Surf Classic, and it was an outstanding meet for our team. This competition showcased major improvements across all levels, highlighted by strong individual performances and a 2nd-place team finish for our Level 8 athletes.

Level 8

Our Level 8s had an exceptional weekend, earning a 2nd-place team award and several podium finishes:

Jasper D. earned 2nd place on floor

Nicco B. placed 2nd on high bar

Teo C. finished 2nd on floor, delivering one of his best performances of the season so far.

Aiden Z. had a great meet, earning 2nd on vault and 4th all-around.

Level 5

Maxwell D. placed 3rd on high bar

Emmett H. had a standout meet, earning 3rd on high bar, 2nd on vault, and 4th on floor.

Level 4

The Level 4 group had an incredible meet, with huge improvements across the board. Every athlete significantly increased their scores, reflecting their hard work in training:

Rex P. led the group with an impressive 8th-place all-around finish.

Jackson P., Henry B., Damon K., and Senai H. all showed major progress improving their all around scores by an average of 2 full points.

Overall, the Ohana Surf Classic was a fantastic step forward for our team. The athletes showed clear improvement, strong focus, and great competitive spirit. We’re excited to build on this momentum as the season continues!
