The Cave’s Response to the new Stay at Home Order

Updated December 7:

We know you are all probably wondering what is happening with your classes at The Cave. We have worked feverishly through the weekend to work out the best way to continue to facilitate classes. At this time no classes have to be cancelled. All classes will continue with many classes relocating for the time being. If you do not receive a specific email about your class, then you can assume that your drop off and pick up locations are remaining the same, and that your class will be operated in one of our outdoor areas. We have just recently finished our outdoor spring floor in the gymnastics tent to improve the functionality of this area for gymnastics.

While almost all of our classes can find a location outdoors, there will be some groups still operating in the warehouse areas of the facility. We have performed a thorough air component test throughout the facility to ensure that we have good circulation throughout the facility. Every area in the facility measured as “very good” indoor air turn over or better. The warehouse areas tested as being equivalent to outdoors when the roll up doors are open. We are taking some extra precautions by opening up other exterior doors to ensure constant air flow through the warehouses. We have notified the county of our use of the warehouses and will work with them as the situation develops.

We have received so many messages of encouragement over the last several days. Know that we really appreciate it, and will continue to work hard to keep this community going strong.
