COVID Protocols

Monday, June 15th, 2021 is a big day for The Cave. We are making some changes to our COVID protocols given the very high vaccination rate of our student base, and Marin County in general. With the state tier system being dropped on June 15th, and masking rules changing to follow CDC guidelines, we wanted to let you know we are adapting our rules. The following changes go into effect on June 14th.

1) Fully vaccinated adults may participate in classes without masks whether indoors or outdoors.
2) Private sessions where all participants are vaccinated can be run without masks whether indoors or outdoors.
3) Kids’ classes can be run outdoors without masks.
4) Masks will continue to be worn for all indoor kids’ classes (including our fully vaccinated staff to help facilitate mask wearing for the kids).

We are very proud to be able to say that we have had no transmission of COVID-19 at the facility over the past 15 months. Fortunately, our staff and all of our students were very good about following our protocols and very understanding of the situation. It was amazing to see our community pull together to work through this. While the pandemic is not over, it is encouraging to see how well our county is doing with high vaccination rates and low case rates.
