Epic Bridge Run 2023

The annual back lit group starting photo. Gotta get the bridge in.
Another Epic Bridge Run is in the books. This year the workout was “Throw Something”. Which goes as follows:
10 Minute AMRAP
15 MB Clean Throws
10 Push up
15 MB Squat tosses
10 Plank or HS Shoulder Taps
Then run the 1.5 miles across the bridge down to Golden Gate Beach. Once down on the beach.
200 M of shot put throws. Each throw must be followed by 5 burpees and 5 V-ups.
Then run the 1.5 miles back to the north west parking lot. This one took us a little over an hour and a half. The weather was just about perfect. The break in the rain was welcome, but we did not expect the wonderful warm sunny day. As always it is a great way to start the year participating in a fun, different workout.
Shout outs to Chris Byrne with some mighty throws, and Kevin Bull for his decathlon experience showing in his throws. We also had a visit from an old friend Vinnie, who brought Slade to join in the fun.

Chris may not have perfect technique, but had some hefty throws.

Kevin demonstrates his technique.

A little more worn and weary in this group photo.

Kevin B. first finisher.
