Norcal Boys State Championships Results

March 1, 2, 3 was the Nor Cal Boys State Championships. Our entire squad of boys was qualified to the championships and we had a great weekend. The weekend was spread out for our team, with even our level 4s divided into two sessions.

Friday morning our level 6s kicked off the competition. They have come a long way this season from missing some key skills to performing well at state championships.

Friday was the time for our level 4s to take the floor. Both had solid meets. Both had great routines on pommel horse with Julian Donsky scoring a 9.2 and Maxwell Deixler-Dunn scoring 8.85.

 

Sunday opened with our lone level 3 Julian Trujillo. He finished off his season with a strong showing with a 3rd place finish on floor and a 2nd place finish on vault.

Our level 5s ended out the day in the last session of the weekend. Both Nicco Blum and Jasper Deixler-Dunn hit all of their routines.

Jasper Deixler-Dunn scored a 10.2 on pommel horse, which in a very competitive field landed him a 7th place finish.

Nicco Blum had a fantastic meet finishing 2nd on rings with a 9.5, and finishing 1st on high bar to become this year’s level 5 high bar state champion with a 9.3. Nicco finished 6th all around.
