NorCal Women’s State Championship Highlights

From The Cave’s Women’s Team Head Coach Lori:

“Level 7 is known as THE most competitive Optional Level for Women in NorCal, as well as the entire country. NorCal, SoCal, and Texas are consistently the highest performing states for Women’s Gymnastics, with Level 7 States being a super tough meet to get on the podium. Our girls did that and more!

Team wise, they accomplished a goal that all gyms in NorCal strive to attain – making Top 6 for Team. The likelihood of this happening is so slim…those top 6 places usually go to the big, long-established clubs. But when the results were in last Saturday…

THE CAVE PLACED 5TH OUT OF 47 TEAMS! 

Optionals have put us on everyone’s radar and I’m so proud of all the hard work that went into this finish.”

Additionally, a special Congratulations to Wren S…with a 38.200 AA, Wren made the NorCal State Team for Level 7! (This means Wren was in the Top 12 of all athletes (173) at States regardless of age group.)

At Regionals, Wren will represent NorCal along with 11 team members from clubs across NorCal in a competition between NorCal, SoCal, Nevada, Utah and Arizona. Good luck Wren!
