2026 Men’s Gymnastics Regional Championships
This year we had 6 athletes qualify to Region 1 Championships. One level 5 athlete and five level 8 athletes. Unfortunately Jasper D. was unable to compete due to a lower back strain. We all headed to Reno for the meet. The venue was fantastic allowing for two separate groups to be competing simultaneously.
Regional Championships Venu, Reno
First up was the level 5 meet on Saturday morning. Emmet H. had a good meet scoring an all around of 50.8, which was a personal best and placed him 14th all around at the meet. He scored a 9.15 on rings placing him in second on the event.
The level 8 meet was next. Overall the team performed well. Routines were not error free, but all of our athletes performed well, and aside from a rough start on rings, there were not any uncharacteristic mistakes.
Nico B. hit a PR all around score of 59.85.
Aiden Z. personal best on P-bars at 11.4
Teo C. crushed his personal best on pommels with an 11.45
Jaden performed a fantastic floor routine earning an 11.9, but forgot his scale so could have broken 12 for the first time.
