New to CrossFit? Start with Foundations

Signing up for a Foundations package at The Cave is a great way to get you started on your fitness journey.
Foundations: 5 one-hour private sessions with one of our CrossFit coaches, and 5 group CrossFit classes. We designed this package to help our newer CrossFit athletes to have an individualized approach to learning the more common CrossFit movements, because they are less common in other fitness programs. The CrossFit program at The Cave utilizes gymnastics movements, both Olympic weightlifting and Power weight lifting, as well as other fitness modalities such as kettlebell training, speed and strength development and more. Our goal is to give our clients not just the individualized instruction on these movement patterns, but also the tools for how to scale and modify them to your needs and skill level.
Beyond the movement instruction listed above, Foundations is also a great opportunity for our coaches to get to know you. We can discuss injuries you are working to rehab, or the areas of your body that give you concern. With that information we can help to outline your personalized plan for how to approach group classes for your unique needs.
Foundations is built to give you confidence and knowledge to get started in our CrossFit Program.
Through completing the Foundations series, you will also have an idea for the kind of training you like. You will be well prepared to join our group CrossFit classes, or, you can choose to stay with private training. Both are available options at The Cave.
You don’t have to be brand new in order to take advantage of Foundations. Several athletes choose to use it if they used to be involved in a fitness program and want a refresher, or, if they would like to refine some of their skills before entering group classes. Our coaches will assess your needs and goals to give you the best experience.
